Dr. Jane Standley

Dr. Standley teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in Music-Therapy Methods, Medical Music Therapy, Music in Counseling, and the Music Therapy Research Seminar. An internationally acclaimed researcher she has published extensively on music in learning and music in medical settings, with refereed publication appearing in nursing, early childhood, and music therapy journals. Her most recent studies investigate music therapy’s ability to facilitate medical treatment and to influence early intervention with premature infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Read More

Dr. Jeremy Dittus

A pianist, theorist and Dalcroze instructor,  Jeremy Dittus has performed throughout the United States, Switzerland, and Italy, and has presented workshops throughout the United States. He holds a doctorate of musical arts in piano performance from the University of Colorado at Boulder and masters degrees in piano performance and music theory from the Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music. Dr. Dittus is now pursuing post-doctoral work in Dalcroze Eurhthmics at La Haute Ecole de Musiqe de Geneve, in Geneva, Switzerland. Read More

Sr. Lorna Zemke

Sister Lorna Zemke, D.M.A.

Sr. Lorna, Director of Graduate Music Studies at Silver Lake College in Wisconsin, is an internationally recognized Kodaly clinician. She developed the Music for Tots program which serves 400 children each year. In 1986, she established Lovenotes: Music for the Unborn Child for expectant parents, which is used throughout the US and in several foreign countries. Sr. Lorna has spoken at conferences and seminars throughout the world has also published numerous articles and books including, “The Kodaly Concept: its History, Philosophy and Development” and “Kodaly 35 Lesson Plans and Folk Song Supplement.” Read More
