Continuing Music Therapy Education credits (CMTEs)
Five different designated CMTE courses at the ECMMA Convention are approved by the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT). EACH earns 3 Continuing Music Therapy Education credits. Credits awarded by CBMT are ALSO accepted by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). The ECMMA,CBMT approved Provider #P-121, maintains responsibility for program quality and adherence to CBMT policies and criteria.
Cost for CMTE’s: First course (3 credits) = $90.
Additional courses,3 credits each = $30.per course
Cancellation/ Refund Policy:
In the case of cancellation by the approved provider (ECMMA),ECMMA will send word of such cancellation within two weeks of the opening day of the event,and will reimburse all monies collected from the candidate by ECMMA for the event. If a presenter should cancel all fees associated with the CMTE’s for that session will be completely refunded.
All refund requests must be submitted in writing to ECMMA Treasurer:

- Refunds will be sent by check.
- All refunds are subject to a Cancellation Fee of 20%.
- All refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the ending date of the event.
Substitution Option: Registrants,who are unable to attend,may choose to send a substitute in their place,in lieu of requesting a refund. Substitution is not available to transfer to another person who is already registered to attend the event or to any other ECMMA event. PREREQUISITES:Those wishing to earn CMTE’s must be music therapists (MT-BC) and attend BOTH parts I and II to each course;Certificates will be awarded after completion of an evaluation form,after the second session.
Each course is comprised of two,1:15 sessions.
